#9 Badgers won't overlook winless Georgia State

Posted: Updated:

MADISON, Wis. (WKOW) -- After the Badgers 54-10 blowout over Akron last Saturday, ninth-ranked Wisconsin wraps up their non-conference slate with Georgia State this weekend.

Once again the favorites, the Badgers are set on keeping the ball rolling and avoiding a let down.

The Panthers are winless on the season, losing by a combined score of 79-35 in their first two games. In contrast, the Badgers are a perfect 2-0 and fresh off a 44 point rout of Akron.

But there are still plenty of areas to improve on and Saturday's game is just another chance for Wisconsin to right those wrongs.

"Are we overlooking Georgia State? Absolutely not, " senior linebacker Vince Biegel said following Wednesday's practice, "I feel like we did a great job of preparing for LSU. We did a great job of preparing for  Akron, and again we've done a great job preparing for Georgia State."

"We got athletes, they go athletes, " junior cornerback Derrick Tindal added, "It's upsets every week and you see it so we don't take no team lightly because we know if you take a team lightly that can be your downfall."
