Bucks acquire Beasley from Rockets

The Bucks have traded Tyler Ennis to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Michael Beasley. Bucks general manager John Hammond announced the deal on Thursday.

"We're excited to add a player with Michael's skill set to our team. He's someone that we've kept our eye on the last few seasons and we're looking forward to watching him compete throughout training camp and the season."

Beasley spent part of last year in China. He was named the CBA's Foreign MVP. after averaging 31.9 points, 13.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists for the Shandong Golden Stars. He then signed with the Houston Rockets and played in 20 games. The 27-year old averaged 2.8 points and 4.9 rebounds.

Beasley entered the league as the No. 2 overall pick of the Miami Heat in the 2008 draft. Beasely has averaged 13.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in his career with Miami, Minnesota, Phoenix and Houston.

Ennis has played sparingly as a backup guard for the Bucks after they acquired him as part of the Brandon Knight trade in Feb. 2015.
