River Edge Elementary students search for good samaritan

Posted: Updated:

MADISON (WKOW) -- Across the nation, the average teacher spends hundreds of dollars out-of-pocket on supplies for their classrooms and their students.

In August, WKOW did a story about the cost of education and the needs of teachers.  After watching that story an anonymous donation was made to third grade students at River Edge Elementary School in Patch Grove.

According to a teacher at the school, the anonymous donor donated materials like notebooks, folders and scissors.

The students and teachers at River Edge would like to thank the person who donated the much needed supplies.

If you know who made this random act of kindness please email news@wkow.com.
