MADISON (WKOW) -- Family Service Madison has helped families for 106 years in the Madison area and this week, it's hosting an event to raise money for families in crisis.

The organization will recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month with its event "We Are Family" on Thursday, October 13 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. It's at the East Side Club at 3735 Monona Drive.

The night will include food and drink, live music and dancing, a raffle and silent auction, wine pull, 50/50 drawing, UW's MadHatters and Marcy & The Highlights. Members of the Madison Capitols hockey team will be there to sign autographs.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased here. The money raised will help build stronger family bonds and help children, trauma victims and families in crisis going through a domestic violence situation.
