MADISON (WKOW) -- Governor Scott Walker announced Wednesday a renovation project for Witte Residence Hall on UW-Madison's campus has been approved.
The project includes a complete renovation of both wings of the residence hall. It will replace the building's heating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Other upgrades to the building include remodeled resident life, classroom and office space, as well as ADA accessibility upgrades.
The Wisconsin Building Commission also approved renovations to the Towers Residence Hall at UW-Eau Claire, the final phase of the Falcon Center for Health Education and Wellness project, and various maintenance and repair projects across the state.
