MADISON, Wis. (WKOW) -- Vince Biegel is back.

On Thursday, Badgers head coach Paul Chryst told reporters that linebacker and team captain Vince Biegel will be back on the field on Saturday to take on conference rival Iowa. The senior has missed the past two games while recovering from surgery on his right foot.

Through UW's first four games, Biegel has nine tackles, including two for loss.

Even with his absence, the Badgers rank ninth in the nation in scoring defense (allowing 15.2 points per game), 12th in total defense (311.3 yards per game) and 13th in rushing defense (106.2 yards per game).

Wisconsin travels to Iowa for an 11 a.m. kickoff at Kinnick Stadium.
