MADISON (WKOW) -- If you or someone you know has a problem with eyesight, or you're not sure if you do, the Wisconsin Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired will host its "Saving Sight Symposium" this Thursday.
The event is from 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. October 27 at the Alliant Energy Center. UW Health ophthalmologists and an expert panel of speakers will talk about current research and important issues, tools and solutions for people with vision loss from macular degeneration. There will be exhibitors, plus representatives from the UW School of Nursing who will provide age-related health screenings.
