MADISON (WKOW) -- This year marks the 50th anniversary of World Dairy Expo. International farmers come here to learn about Wisconsin's traditions.
Kuber Tiwari is a dairy farmer from northern India. He says, "I signed up for the Dairy Short Course because I want to come from India to learn the modern techniques. I want to take good things from here and I want to implement in my country."
Karen Nielsen founded the program. She says it's a great way to share ideas that are relevant to our world-class dairy industry. She says, "We are no longer a Wisconsin dairy industry or a U.S. Dairy industry. It's a global market."
This year, the International Dairy Short Course hosted dairy industry representatives from more than 28 different countries.
