Wisconsin Opens Maui Invite with 74-62 Win Over Tennessee

MADISON (WKOW) -

The No. 16 Wisconsin men's basketball team is getting a taste of March Madness, playing three games in three days in the Maui Invitational. The Badgers opened their play with a 74-62 win over Tennessee.

Senior guard Bronson Koenig lead the the Badgers with 21 points and four assists in the win. Senior forward Nigel Hayes added a double-double finishing with 17 points and ten rebounds.

Wisconsin advances to the semi final round of the tournament, and will play the winner of Georgetown and Oregon on Tuesday.
