SUN PRAIRIE (WKOW) -- "Go Sing It On The Mountain" is a brand new Christmas production debuting at St. Albert the Great parish in Sun Prairie this weekend.
On Monday, Cecile Gregory and Jack Kaltenberg stopped by Wake Up Wisconsin to talk about the upcoming production.
Showcasing the talents of the "Voices of St. Albert's" choir and a host of actors, musicians, and dancers, the program will bring to life mountain village scenes and tender home scenes in the telling of the Christmas story.
"This will be a night for the entire family to share and remember," says Cecile Gregory, St. Albert's Director of Music and Liturgy. " 'Go Sing It On The Mountain' is our 8th in a series of annual holiday programs designed to tell the story of Christ's birth in a moving and memorable way."
In addition to the holiday program, the parish also plays host to a beautifully prepared dinner immediately preceding the 6 PM program and immediately following the parish's 4 PM Mass. Donations for the meal will support the efforts of St. Vincent de Paul and the Youth Ministry of St. Albert the Great.
"We invite everyone to join their friends and family for an evening of great food and wonderful musical entertainment," continues Gregory. "It promises to be an event that will be remembered by one and all as a high point of the coming Christmas season."
"Go Sing It On The Mountain" will be performed at 6 PM on Saturday, December 10th at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, located at 2420 St. Albert the Great Drive in Sun Prairie.
