No. 4 UW Whitewater Sweeps Series With No. 15 UW La Crosse

WHITEWATER (WKOW) -

The Warhawks completed their conference opening weekend with a four game sweep over UW La Crosse after a 4-3 win and a 6-2 win on Sunday at Prucha Field.

The Warhawks played from behind in game one of the Sunday double header. Their comeback was highlighted and completed after a walk off home run from Blake Fleischman in the 12th inning.

In game two, UW Whitewater took a three run lead in the fourth inning and never trailed after that.

Junior center fielder Brett Krause went 3-for-5 at the plate in the win for the Warhawks.

With two more wins, the Warhawks improve to (16-2) overall on the season and (4-0) in WIAC play.
