SUN PRAIRIE (WKOW) -- The Sun Prairie Civic Theatre is putting on the musical "The Wizard of Oz" this month.

Isabella Knowka, who plays Dorothy, and the director Frank Peot stopped by the WKOW studios to tell Wake Up Wisconsin viewers about their production. Peot says their rendition includes the jitterbug, which is not in the movie, and they do some interesting things to create the tornado.

Isabella calls playing the lead a "amazing" and "awesome."

The shows are April 20, 21, and 22 at 7:30 .p.m and April 22 and 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sun Prairie Performing Arts Center. The 7:30 performance on April 22 will be sign language interpreted.

Tickets are $16 for adults, $13 for seniors and $11 for students. For more information or tickets, click here.
