Madison business owner arrested after synthetic marijuana, cocaine found

MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison business owner has been arrested as part of a drug investigation.

The Dane County Narcotics Task Force executed search warrants at Madison Bazaar, 1901 S. Park St, and at the business owner's Verona home Thursday.

Over nine pounds of synthetic marijuana, known as "spice," were seized as was a smaller amount of cocaine.

55-year-old Suhail S. Syed was arrested on 4 counts of delivery of synthetic cannabinoids. Other tentative charges, including maintaining a drug dwelling, are being referred to the District Attorney.
