MADISON (WKOW) -- The Western Wisconsin Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is gearing up to host an unforgettable evening of cocktails, dinner, live and silent auctions and dancing.

On Monday, Jennifer Wickman and Henry Gabrielski stopped by Wake Up Wisconsin to talk about the event which will be held Saturday, April 29th at 5:00 p.m. at the Monona Terrace Convention Center.

Funds raised will benefit JDRF's mission to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat type 1 diabetes (T1D) and its complications. This year the Howell family will be honored at the 2017 Madison Spring Gala!

The Fund A Cure Speaker for the 2017 JDRF Spring Gala will be Henry Gabrielski. Henry is 12 years old and has type 1 diabetes (T1D).
