Packers sign Evans for offensive line depth

Posted: Updated:
GREEN BAY (WKOW) -

The Packers potentially filled a major hole on the day before the NFL Draft. The team has agreed to terms with veteran guard Jahri Evans.

Evans has been one of the better offensive lineman in the NFL the past decade. He has been voted to six Pro Bowls and has been named All-Pro four times. The 6'4", 318-pounder has spent his entire 11-year career playing for the Saints. He has started all 169 regular seasons he has played in with New Orleans and 10 postseason games. Evans has played more games since 2006 than any other active offensive lineman.

Evans will wear No. 73 for the Packers.
