Ramczyk selected by Saints in first round

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA (WKOW) -

For the first time since 2011, the Badgers had a pair of players selected in the first round. Ryan Ramczyk joined TJ Watt as first-round selections. Ramczyk was taken by New Orleans with the final pick of the round (No. 32 overall).

Ramczyk was a consensus All-American in his only season playing for the Badgers after transferring in from UW-Stevens Point. He is the fifth Wisconsin offensive lineman taken in the first round since 2007.

This is the fifth time the Badgers have had multiple first-round selections.
