Dayne, Steinhauser, Woodson and Selig Honored at Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame

The Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame added three more members to it's elite status with Ron Dayne, Sherri Steinhauer and Charles Woodson being inducted Saturday night in Milwaukee. Former Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver emceed the event.

 Established in 1951, the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame features Vince Lombardi, Hank Aaron, Oscar Robertson, Barry Alvarez, Al McGuire, Bud Selig, Junior Bridgeman, Willie Davis, Herb Kohl, Donald Driver, Bo Ryan, Bart Starr, Ab Nicholas, Bob Harlan, Fred Miller, Alan Kulwicki, Robin Yount, Bonnie Blair, Bob Uecker and many other Wisconsin greats. The Wisconsin Athletic Walk of Fame, located on 4th Street in Milwaukee’s downtown sports and entertainment district, contains bronze plaques commemorating the 137 members of the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame. The Walk of Fame is free and open to the public 365 days a year.

Estella Moschkau of Edgewood High School and Kobe King of La Crosse Central received the High School Athlete of the Year Awards.
