BELOIT (WKOW) -- Students at Hackett Elementary School in Beloit enjoyed a healthy breakfast thanks to Dairy Farm Families of Wisconsin and the Fuel Up to Play 60 Program.
More than 30 schools competed in the Breakfast Super Bowl Challenge. Hackett Elementary was one of the six winning schools.
Third grader Brenan Pearson says, "There was yogurt, granola, strawberries, blueberries, frozen yogurt."
The goal of the challenge was to create a healthy, balanced breakfast that kids would enjoy eating. It goes well with the goal of the Fuel Up to Play 60 Program, which is to get kids eating healthy and getting active.
Brenan says, "It felt very good and I was so happy, and I just felt like I was about to explode because of how excited I was."
