MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police weren't successful in using a canine unit to search for two thieves who held up a pizza delivery man at gunpoint late Friday afternoon.

A police report says the 22-year-old driver was approached by two men in their 20s in the 700 block of Troy Drive just before 5:00 p.m. The suspects approached the driver under the ruse of asking him for change.

The driver told police the first suspect then pulled a gun on him and took his route cash.  The second suspect acted as a lookout.  Both men fled on foot after stealing the money.

The suspects are described as skinny black men, both about 5'10" tall.  The gunman was wearing bleached jeans and a black hoodie sweatshirt.  The second suspect was wearing  dark blue or black jeans, a black hoodie and a black mask
