The driveway leading to the church was lined with American flags in his honor. Family members watched as the casket was carried into the church by a marine detail.

After the more than hour-long service, Barclay-Weberpal's body was taken to St. Mary's Cemetery in Milton. There, the young marine was buried with full military honors -- including a 21-gun salute.

As mourners bid a final farewell -- a bugler played taps in the background.

Military investigators said Barclay-Weberpal was stabbed to death January 16th at Camp Pendleton near San Diego. Another service member is in custody as the naval criminal investigative service continues looking into the case. No one has been charged at this time.
