OSHKOSH (WKOW) -

Former Wisconsin Badgers shooting guard Bronson Koenig scored 17 points for the Grand Rapids Drive in a winning effort over the Wisconsin Herd of the NBA's G-League.

Koenig's journey to Grand Rapids has far from a straight one. After being waived by the Bucks and traded by the Bulls, Koenig landed with the Drive and has since made the most of his playing opportunities while transitioning from the collegiate level.

"College basketball in general is a little more slower pace," Koenig said. "Professional the court is more open, and spaced out. a quicker pace. I'm still adjusting to a little bit. I've done a good job up until that point making that adjustment."

Koenig has now played in 35 games for the Drive, starting in 14 of those games. He is averaging 22 minutes a game, and 10 points per contest.

Koenig said, "I've really honed in on my shooting ability and also play making ability that comes along with having a shot."
