Jennings returns to Bucks organization

Posted: Updated:

Former Bucks guard Brandon Jennings is making a return to the organization. The Wisconsin Herd, the G League affiliate of the Bucks, announced they have acquired Jennings off waivers.

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Brandon back to the Bucks organization and introduce him to the Herd family,” said Herd General Manager and Bucks Vice President of Basketball Operations Dave Dean said in a statement. “Brandon has played at the highest levels all over the world and we look forward to him calling Oshkosh home.”

The Bucks drafted Jennings 10th overall in 2009. He appeared in 291 games with Milwaukee and averaged 17 points, 5.7 assists and 3.4 rebounds over four seasons.

The 28-year old most recently played in China for Shanxi Zhongyu. He appeared in 13 games in the Chinese CBA, averaging 27.9 points and 6.8 assists.

The Herd plan to have Jennings in uniform on Feb. 21 when Wisconsin returns home to face Fort Wayne.
