Badgers women's basketball falls to Rutgers in home finale

MADISON (WKOW) -

The Badgers' home portion of the women's basketball schedule ended in defeat. Rutgers beat Wisconsin 63-50 at the Kohl Center.

Tyler Scaife proved tough to guard for Wisconsin. She led Rutgers with 25 points. The Scarlet Knights improved to 19-9 overall, 7-7 in the Big Ten.

Marsha Howard led Wisconsin with 12 points. Suzanne Gilreath added nine points. The Badgers fall to 9-18 overall, 2-11 in conference.
