JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- Rock County authorities have arrested a Delavan man and had detained three others in a road rage incident that involved gunfire along the streets of Janesville.

Sgt. Douglas Coulter says about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, a person reported that someone began shooting at them after they passed the driver on Milton Avenue in Janesville. Investigators say as the two cars moved north on Highway 26, they eventually turned south onto North Harmony Town Hall Road.

The driver of the car that had been shot at followed the alleged shooter into Walworth County and called 9-1-1.  Janesville  Police were working an un-related shooting in the city and requested mutual aid, so deputies from Walworth County responded. They stopped the suspect vehicle just east of Delavan.

Three people from that car were detained and questioned at the Rock County Jail. One person was arrested; Jamie L. Blair, 18, of Delavan faces a felony tentative charge of first-degree recklessly endangering safety.
