PHOTOS: High water swamping roads throughout southern Wisconsin

SOUTHERN WISCONSIN (WKOW) -- Many counties in southern Wisconsin have poor road conditions Tuesday morning. Some are all right for now, but there is more rain on the way. Here is a list of what local sheriffs' offices are reporting:

ADAMS COUNTY - Slippery stretches

COLUMBIA COUNTY - Slick spots; county highway crews are salting

DANE COUNTY 

      MT.  HOREB: All north and southbound lanes on WIS 78 at CTH H, are closed due to water over the roadway.   

      VERONA: All north and southbound lanes on WIS 69, between CTH PB and US 151, are closed due to water over the roadway. 

DODGE COUNTY - No problems

GRANT COUNTY  - Good conditions

GREEN COUNTY - Flooding, water on many roads

      BRODHEAD: All northbound and southbound lanes on WIS 104 between County B and WIS 11 are closed due to water over the roadway. Motorists are advised to us an alternate route to avoid the delays.      

      BROOKLYN: All northbound and southbound lanes on WIS 104 between County C and WIS 59 are closed due to water over the road way. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route. 

      MONTICELLO: Current Road Closures within Monticello: E. Lake Avenue, N Pratt Road, S. Pratt Road, CTH EE/E. Wisconsin Avenue, Kennedy Street, and W. North Avenue. In addition, the park is closed.

IOWA COUNTY -

      HOLLANDALE: All lanes both directions are closed WIS 191 from CTH W to CTH K due to flooding.  Use an alternate route.  

JEFFERSON COUNTY - No issues

JUNEAU COUNTY - Icy and hazardous road conditions, more towards the southern part of the county, but slippery all over. Salt crews are out working

LAFAYETTE COUNTY - Standing water on many roads all over the county; County K from Ames to Red Road Road is CLOSED because of flooding; 6-8 inches in some areas

      BLANCHARDVILLE:  All lanes are closed by WIS 78 at County H because of flooding.         

MARQUETTE COUNTY - No issues 

ROCK COUNTY - Major flooding on many roads; 60 reports of water on the roads 

      BELOIT -- Due to the extended rains causing flooding, McKinley is closed between Burton and Newark. Also, the Colley Road bridge over Turtle Creek and Ford Street are closed.

      JANESVILLE - The areas of Wright Road and Ruger Avenue in Janesville are experiencing heavy flooding. The Janesville Police Department advises you to avoid the area. Wright Road is closed from Skyview Drive to Palmer Drive. Ruger Avenue is closed from Pontiac Dr. to Wuthering Hills Dr. An alternate route: use Wuthering Hills Dr. which runs from E. Racine St. to E. Milwaukee Street. The area will be opened once the water has subsided.

      TOWN OF BELOIT - Paddock Road from Hwy 81 north to Spring Creek Road has been temporarily closed due to flooding and will be reopened once it is clear.  The intersection of Newark Road (County Hwy Q) and Afton Road (County Hwy D) has a large amount of standing water, but remains open at this time.

SAUK COUNTY - Icy spots, especially on the side roads
