MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- A nun in Milwaukee has been collecting weather data for decades.
Sister Georgeann is the Mount Mary University weather observer. She doesn't remember how long she's been doing it, but FOX6 in Milwaukee reports she's as punctual today as she was the day she started.
She's the third sister to have the duty since the University started collecting data for the National Weather Service in 1968, reports FOX6.
Sister Georgeann records the temperature, rainfall and snowfall. She takes readings at the same time every day.
"A couple of times I've called in and they've said, 'Are you sure?' and I said, 'Yes, I'm sure!'"
