WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- You've probably heard her greet you at the airport, but you've never met her.
Carolyn Hopkins records messages for airports, and she does it all in the comfort of her home. Our affiliate talked to her. Her voice is used all over the world in airports, emergency rooms and other places.
She says, "I've had friends scream that me saying 'Carolyn, I've heard you 100 times!'"
Carolyn has been doing this for nearly 40 years. Her voice will outlive her, but she won't be too far away.
"Our plot is right at the end of one of the runways in Bangor International," she laughs.
