EVANSVILLE (WKOW) -- The Rock County Sheriff's Office says a 26-year-old Evansville man was arrested Tuesday for his fifth offense of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants.

A deputy was called to N. USH 14 and W. Bullard Road around 5:40 p.m. for a report that a vehicle was all over the roadway. The deputy followed the vehicle into Evansville, where it nearly hit other vehicles.

The Rock County Sheriff's Office says the vehicle eventually pulled into a McDonald's and the driver, Quinn Bergum, got out. The deputy following the vehicle went up to Bergum and detected intoxicants on Bergum's breath. The officer then put Bergum through field sobriety tests. Afterward, Bergum was arrested and taken to the Rock County Jail.

Bergum is due in court on Wednesday.
