MADISON (WKOW) -- Two Evansville High School seniors go above and beyond for a senior project.

Classmates Logan Katzenmeyer and Kellan Sunness has special inspiration when they decided to raise money for the UW-Carbone Canter Center for their senior project. Katzenmeyer's cousin, 4-year-old Harlow Phillips suffers from stage four high-risk neuroblastoma.

The two presented the $50,000 check at the American Family Children's Hospital lobby. They raised the money by holding a silent auction.

"I was expecting to raise maybe 30 or 40,000 dollars," said Sunness. "I knew the gator would bring $25,000 in the first place but we didn't expect to get close to what we ended up with how much we actually raised."

The two students actually raised a total of $90,000. The other $40,000 is going to other charities.
