WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- U.S. Senator Ron Johnson says he would support lowering Wisconsin's drinking age from 21, after saying he thought the legal age was 18. Here's the exchange with a reporter from Devil's Advocate Radio: Reporter: "You mentioned something about 18 year olds being able to drink beer. Are you suggesting lowering the drinking age?" Senator Johnson: "No. Can't they do that now? What is the age nowadays?" Reporter: "It's 21 sir." Senator Johnson made the comments Friday on Devil's Advocate Radio when talking about gun control. He said 18 year olds should be able to vote, have a beer and buy a gun to hunt with.
