Maple Syrup Fest happening this weekend

MADISON (WKOW) -- Maple Syrup Fest is happening this weekend in Madison.

The Aldo Leopold Nature Center hosts the event to teach people the science of maple syruping. Visitors will see demonstrations of various methods by which Native Americans, pioneers and people today tap trees for maple syrup and sugar.

The event is Sunday, March 25 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center's Monona Campus at 330 Femrite Drive.
