Loudermilk looking to make a splash this fall

Posted: Updated:

Among the priorities during spring ball for UW is rebuilding the defensive line. They lost their top three defensive ends to graduation, and next in line is Isaiahh Loudermilk. The redshirt sophomore showed some flashes in 11 games last season, where he notched 11 tackles with 1.5 sacks.

The 6'7", 297 pound lineman came to Wisconsin after playing 8-man football in Kansas. He was a bit raw, but after two years of molding, it's Loudermilk's time to shine.  He has been putting the in the time to make improvements during spring ball.

"Spring season is really just  [a time to] get better at anything and everything," said Loudermilk after spring practice last week.  "I'm just trying to improve my game all-around.  You know, run, pass, just the little details.  [I'm] just trying to sharpen everything up by the time season rolls around.

The Badger football is team taking this week off from practice for spring break. They'll be back at it on Tuesday, April 3rd.
