UPDATE (WKOW) -- The Dane County Sheriff's Office says two people were taken to UW Hospital after a crash in the Town of Springdale.

It happened just after 8:00 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. 151 near Windy Oak Lane, just west of Spring Rose Circle.

A 20-year-old man from Madison was on Windy Oak Lane and the sheriff's office says he didn't yield to another vehicle going east on U.S. 151.
The other driver, 56-year-old Sarah Elms of Mt. Horeb, and the other victim were wearing their seat belts and the sheriff's office says their injuries are not life threatening.

The 20-year-old will get a ticket for failure to yield.

The road is now open after traffic had to be rerouted for about 45 minutes.
