Badgers' Happ declares for NBA Draft but doesn't hire agent

MADISON (WKOW) -

As expected, Wisconsin forward Ethan Happ has officially declared for the NBA Draft. However, the redshirt junior has not hired an agent. So, he will be able to withdraw his name from the draft prior to June 11 and return for his senior season. Head coach Greg Gard announced the decision on social media.

Happ averaged 17.5 points and 8.6 rebounds this past season. The 6'10" post player said following the season he wanted to get feedback from NBA scouts about his prospects before making a final decision on his future. Happ is hoping to be invited to the NBA Combine in Chicago on May 16-20. He has previously said he would likely return to school unless NBA scouts predict he will be drafted in the first round.

If Happ returns, the Badgers would bring back all five starters from this past season.
