GREEN BAY (WKOW) -

After a pair of trades in the first round, the Green Bay Packers selected cornerback Jaire Alexander out of Louisville with the No.18 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Alexander is 5'10", 196 lbs. He ran a 4.38 second 40-yard dash and posted a 35-inch vertical. Alexander also has experience as a return man.

The Packers came into the draft with the No. 14 pick. They traded that pick to New Orleans for picks No. 27 and No. 147, plus a first-round pick in the 2019 draft. Green Bay then traded picks No. 27, 76 and 186 to get back picks No. 18 and 248.

This is Green Bay's first draft under new general manager Brian Gutekunst.
