Former Badgers, Madison-area locals sign UFDA deals with NFL teams

Several former Wisconsin Badgers, and former Madison-area high school football stand outs, reportedly signed undrafted free agent deals with NFL teams after the conclusion of the 2018 NFL Draft on Saturday.

According to the Wisconsin State Journal, former Badger LB Garret Dooley signed with the Minnesota Vikings, DE Alec James and FB Austin Ramesh signed with the Arizona Cardinals.

According to NFL agency JL Sports, former Wisconsin Dells high school football standout Shane Wimann signed a UDFA deal with the New England Patriots. The tight end played college football at Northern Illinois. According to AP, former Madison Memorial WR Jester Weah signed a UDFA deal with the Houston Texans.
