MOUNT PLEASANT (AP) - Foxconn Technology Group plans to officially break ground for its southeastern Wisconsin manufacturing complex next month.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Friday that the company has scheduled a June 28 ceremony at the site.

The Taiwanese electronics giant started phase one of construction on the $10 billion flat-screen manufacturing campus in Mount Pleasant in Racine County Monday.

The company has hired 27 Wisconsin companies to work on the project. The plant could eventually employ up to 13,000 people.
