Amazon Prime members save at Whole Foods

Posted: Updated:

SEATTLE (WKOW) -- Amazon announced it's Prime members can save an additional 10 percent on sale items at Whole Foods stores.

Members just have to scan the Whole Foods app while checking out.

Amazon bought Whole Foods in 2017, and the two companies debuted their free two-hour delivery service in 10 cities earlier this year. That service is expected to expand in the next few months.

Right now, it costs $99 to become an Amazon Prime member. That price is expected to jump 20 percent to $119.
