MADISON (WKOW) -- Many moms and dads have mood disorders following the birth of a baby and now there's more help for them in Wisconsin.

A new chapter of Postpartum Support International just launched in Wisconsin. The group works to promote awareness, prevention and treatment of mental health issues related to childbearing.

Samantha Leibfried talked about the organization on Wake Up Wisconsin Tuesday. She says there is a national PSI "warmline" for people to call if they're concerned. That number is 1(800) 944-4PPD. You can also text (503) 894-9453. Callers will be connected with trained volunteers who can help them with resources and support.
