Badgers land 7-foot transfer

MADISON (WKOW) -

The Wisconsin men's basketball team is adding some size. Owen Hamilton, a 7'0" center, has announced he is transferring in from Northern Illinois.

Hamilton averaged 1.9 points and 1.3 rebounds per game as a freshman at Northern Illinois. The Prescott native will be arriving as a walk-on and will have to sit out next season. He will have three seasons of eligibility left.
