Posted: Updated:

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison Police Department is investigating what it calls an attempted homicide after reports of shots fired Wednesday night at a factory, according to officials.

Officers were called to the parking lot of Madison-Kipp Corporation, on the 2800 block of Atwood Avenue, just after 11 p.m.

When police arrived, they found shell casings and blood. They were not able to find any suspects or victims right away.

A 32-year-old man later arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. Police say it is not considered life threatening.

The investigation continues.
