Badgers' Miller drafted in first round of NHL Draft

MADISON (WKOW) -

Incoming Badgers defenseman K'Andre Miller was selected No. 22 overall in the NHL Draft by the New York Rangers.

The Rangers traded up to select the Minnetonka, Minnesota native. The 6'3" defenseman spent last season with the U.S. Under-18 Team. He scored nine goals and notched 29 points in 58 games. 

Miller is the 13th Wisconsin player selected in the first round. The Badgers have had a player drafted in 21 consecutive seasons.
