MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police officers seized two handguns - one that was listed as stolen - and drugs early Sunday when they arrested two men inside the State Street Campus Garage on Lake Street.

Brent K. Hinman-Ali, 18, Cottage Grove, was arrested for possession of the stolen handgun, possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, possession with intent to deliver Oxycodone, possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession with intent to deliver marijuana.

Anthony Allen, 19, Madison, was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, possessing a stolen handgun, possession of oxycodone with intent to deliver, possession of heroin with intent to deliver and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.

An officer working as part of a Downtown Safety Initiative made contact with the two men after smelling a strong odor of marijuana coming from the rental car in which they were parked, according to a Madison Police Department incident report.

Police say one of the men had a handgun tucked in his waistband and the stolen gun was in the glove box. Heroin, fentanyl, marijuana, and oxycodone were also seized during the investigation, according to police. Many of the drugs were individually packaged.
