Madison police continue search for Thursday's bank robber

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police are continuing their investigation into a Thursday afternoon bank robbery. 

The robbery at the Associated Bank in the 1500 block of W. Broadway on the city's south side occurred around 3:50 p.m., according to a police incident report.

A male, white suspect walked in and demanded money from a teller, but no weapon was displayed, according to the report. 

The suspect is described at 5'04"-5'05", and 130 lbs.  He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark sunglasses and a blue bandana around his mouth. 

When police arrived, a K-9 track was attempted but ended at a nearby apartment complex. 

Madison police are working with the FBI on this incident, according Police Information Officer, Joel Despain.
