Remembering Brittany Zimmermann

Energetic, a delight to be around, someone who will certainly be missed by everyone who knew and loved her... These are just some of the words used to describe Brittany Zimmermann as she's rembered. People who knew Brittany says she was a hard worker, who also knew how to have fun. She always had a smile on her face. People who knew her in Marshfield, where she grew up, say it was always her dream and goal to come to Madison for college. Former teachers from high school remember Brittany as a model student who was a hard worker. They say she had big goals and big dreams. Brittany Zimmermann worked at the UW Registrar's office. One of her supervisors there says she was a delight to be around. "Brittany was happy, fun loving energetic very bright young woman," her work supervisor Joanne Berg says. Those who knew brittany say she was extremely smart. She was a immunology major and planned to graduate next May. Brittany was actively involved in her hometown community - she was a member of the National Honor Society and volunteered at a local elementary school in Marshfield. Her supervisor at the UW calls her murder a great loss.
