Columbus business reopens after floods

In the city of Columbus, ABC Lettering is once again printing t-shirts...on the other side of town.

Last month, record rainfall inundated the screenprinting operation.

The owner of a trucking company offered up his empty warehouse, and even paid to have the printing equipment, paints, and stencils moved across town.

The owners of ABC Lettering say they're grateful, and starting to adjust to their new headquarters.

Owner Jenny Augustine says, "We're up and running and that's the important thing. It's been a little bit harder, the phone lines are still back, and customers don't always know where we're at. But for the most part it's been good and our customers have been great."

Getting federal aid has been difficult for the owners of ABC Lettering, because flood waters destroyed so many financial documents.

As of Monday, FEMA had distributed almost $40 million in aid to Wisconsin residents affected by the floods.
