RICHLAND COUNTY (WKOW) -- The Anders-Beatty family will spend their first night in their new Richland County home on Friday night. They got to see the inside for the first time on Thursday. 27 News met up with Shelley and her children on Friday afternoon to talk about their reactions.
ABC won't allow us to see the inside and the family can't tell us anything about the design. ABC wants the design to be revealed during the show's broadcast in October. (Airdate pending.)
"I'm thrilled," said Shelley Anders. "There won't be any bugs, mice, or squirrels. I'm still in shock. It'll be a while before it settles in this will be our home."
"We busted through the door and ran around to everywhere we could go," said Tyler Beatty.
"It's amazing," said Tess. "Our house was falling down. Now it's not. That's so cool."
"When I first saw it, I lost control," said Drew. "It was an overflow of emotion to see something like that. A week ago we had a house totally different. It overwhelmed me."
"This is higher than my expectations have ever been," said Reid.
Shelley Anders told us the very first room in the home she rushed to see was the Kitchen.
27 News will let you know as soon as ABC tells us when it will air this episode in October.
