MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin emergency officials say they haven't gotten any requests to help the Gulf Coast recover from Hurricane Gustav.
Wisconsin Emergency Management spokeswoman Lori Getter says Wisconsin is part of an emergency mutual aid agreement between states and would provide help if asked, but no one has made a request.
Wisconsin National Guard spokesman Lt. Co. Tim Donovan says the story is the same there. The Guard stands ready to help, but no one has asked yet.
The American Red Cross' Badger chapter, which covers 10 southeastern Wisconsin counties, has sent 11 disaster volunteers to the region so far and is looking to send more.
