After defeating Akron 38-17 the Wisconsin football team (1-0) has moved up one spot to 11th in the USA Today Coaches' Poll and up two spots from No. 13 to No. 11 in the Associated Press Poll. The Badgers welcome Marshall to Camp Randall Stadium Saturday with kickoff set for 11 a.m. CT.
USC took over the top spot from Georgia which fell to No. 2 in both polls. Ohio State (3) Oklahoma (4) and Florida (5) are next in line. Penn State, which moved up to 19th and Illinois, which fell to No. 24/25, are the only other Big Ten schools in the Top-25.
Alabama made the biggest jump in week one after beating Clemson, going from receiving votes in the coaches' poll and No. 24 in the AP to being ranked No. 17/13. After losing, Virginia Tech, Tennessee and Michigan all dropped out of the Top-25.
