MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A high school on Milwaukee's southwest side has been locked down after a female student was stabbed multiple times.
Milwaukee Public Schools Spokesman Phil Harris says a 15-year-old girl was stabbed inside Hamilton High School about 9:30 a.m. Friday.
WTMJ-TV reported a fight broke out between two 15-year-old girls in a bathroom and one stabbed the other.
Harris says the girl was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. The other girl was arrested.
School officials and a police spokeswoman did not immediately return messages Friday.
